Evan the Pig

Evan the Pig sports a rust-colored vareuse (the traditional fisherman’s shirt from Brittany, France) crafted from sturdy cotton canvas and paired with soft denim trousers, Evan embodies effortless elegance and rustic charm with a hint of coastal spirit.

Silaiwali’s cloth dolls are such lovely things, well designed, well made and in a range of skin tones and traditional dress. Each doll even comes with a bed, as the cardboard box they arrive in has a little pillow and a blanket.

Each doll is stitched by hand by women who have fled from Afghanistan to India. The work allows them to earn a living and form a new community.
